What happens to what you send me

Ollissa, an independent studio run by Lisa Vander Elst, working between Dublin, Barcelona and Brussels. I am the data controller for anything you send me here.

Questions about any of this go to [email protected] and I answer them myself.

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your business name, your name, your email address, your website if you give one, and whatever you write in the list.

If you email me directly instead, the same applies to that email.

There is no account to create, no newsletter sign-up, and nothing is required beyond what the form asks for.

To read your enquiry and reply to it, and to take the steps you have asked for before we might work together. Under the GDPR that sits under Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and Article 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in answering people who contact me.

Your details are not used to profile you, to target advertising at you, or for any purpose you did not ask for.

A small number of service providers process it on my behalf, under contract, and only to run the service:

• HighLevel, which hosts this website and holds enquiries
• Google Workspace, which handles email at ollissa.com

Both may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Nobody else sees your enquiry, and it is never sold or passed to a third party for their own purposes.

While we are in conversation, and for up to twenty-four months after the last contact, in case you come back. After that it is deleted.

If we work together, the records that go with that work are kept for as long as Irish tax and company law requires.

You can ask me to delete it sooner and I will, unless I am legally required to keep it.

There are no advertising pixels here, no third-party trackers, and nothing that follows you to other sites.

Visitor numbers are counted using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it records that a page was viewed and roughly where the visit came from, and it does not build a profile of you, store an identifier on your device, or share anything with an advertising network. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site — there is nothing to consent to.

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them.

The hosting platform may set cookies that are strictly necessary to serve the page and keep the form working. If anything more intrusive is ever added, this page will say so before it goes live.

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, ask me to restrict what I do with it, object to my using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email [email protected] and I will come back within thirty days.

If you are not happy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie, or to the supervisory authority where you live.

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that materially affects how your details are used will be flagged on the site rather than slipped in quietly.
